I flew all the way from CA to Maine just to hear Lori play and I was so happy that I did. Lori sings from her heart, with many songs being about a introspective story she's had in her life. She shows her vulnerability by being so open and warm and real on stage. It isn't an act for her, rather a way she can connect with the audience to share her happiness or pain or wonder she's had in her life.

Lori's unique voice tugs at your heart making it so easy to feel connected to her somehow. She ddoesn't just play music, but rather draws out the feelings inside that you have so you can relate to the wonderful soul searching verses she so delicately and gorgeously sings. Her songs make you feel alive and connect you too your inner feelings.

As one of her songs (Stealing Kisses) goes near the end... "run, run, run" and get tix as soon as you can and I guarantee you'll have a great time!

I knew going in I loved her but Lori & her crew put on the best show I’ve seen in years. Her sweetness & candor made for an intimate night in a phenomenal venue.

Lori McKenna is an American singer songwriter of the folk variety. She has been on the scene for about fifteen years having released music since the turn of the millennium. She has got such an angelic voice that has so much conviction when she sings. She tells stories through her music in such an engaging way, with every time she performs she holds the audience in the palm of her hand so effortlessly.

She opens with evening with a song called “Salt”, accompanied by her guitarist who provides counter melodies to her voice making their sound quite three dimensional, and making such an impression on anyone seeing her perform for the first time. “Rose of Jericho” despite not being the people’s favourite of this set tonight, is the dark horse song of tonight that really is something else. She finishes on the song “The Time I’ve Wasted” which gives the audience exactly what they ordered. It’s the people’s favourite song, McKenna is ever so grateful for the support.
