North Lincolnshire Train Tickets

North Lincolnshire Concessionary Fare Scheme

Get up to 50% off train travel with the North Lincolnshire Council Concessionary Fare Scheme. North Lincolnshire Council has arranged a 50% reduction on Anytime Day Returns and Off Peak Day Return tickets for holders a Concessionary Travel Pass. Holders of these passes can also get 34% off Anytime Day Single, Anytime, Off Peak and Super Off Peak tickets. They've arranged free travel in standard class for those with a Disabled Persons Travel Pass too. Not sure which ticket is which? Get more information on our ticket types .

Travelling with someone?

Companion pass holders can also claim the same discount as above when travelling with the person named on the back of the pass.

Where can I travel under the scheme?

To buy a discounted ticket you need to:

Go on the TPE App or book a ticket through our website or at one of our stations
Set up the origin and destination
Select the ticket type required
Add a Railcard and choose either N LINC CONC 34 or N LINC CONC 50 depending on the ticket being purchased and the discount associated with it.

Disabled Persons Travel Pass holders get free travel as part of this scheme. Simply show your pass at stations and if asked onboard.

This discount is available to anyone with a North Lincolnshire Concessionary Travel Pass or a Companion's Pass as long as they are travelling with the person named on the pass. Disabled Persons Travel Pass holders get free travel under the scheme.

With the North Lincolnshire Council Concessional Fare Scheme, you must begin or end your journey at one of the following stations:

Kirton Lindsey
Thornton Abbey
New Holland
Barrow Haven
Barton-on-Humber

As long as you begin or end your journey at one of the stations above, your discount will be valid when travelling to or from any of the stations below:

Great Coates
Grimsby Town
Grimsby Docks
Cleethorpes
Gainsborough Central
Market Rasen
